Sandusky Police Reinforce Seat Belt Safety During the 2026 “Click It or Ticket” Campaign.
Sandusky Police Officers will be actively enforcing seat belt laws around the clock as part of the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign.
This initiative is not about issuing citations—it’s about saving lives. Wearing a seat belt is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce serious injury or death in a crash, and it saves thousands of lives across America every year.
This year’s enforcement period runs from May 18 through May 31, but motorists should remember that seat belt laws are enforced year-round in Sandusky.
Sandusky Police encourage all drivers and passengers to buckle up—every trip, every time. Taking just a few seconds to wear a seat belt can make a life-saving difference.
