Thank you Vermilion Elementary School, Vermilion Middle School, and Vermilion High School for partnering with our CYM School Buddies Program during the 2025–2026 school year.

To celebrate the friendships and connections built throughout the year, students enjoyed a popcorn bar, received participation certificates for both Littles and Bigs, and shared their summer plans on colorful beach balls.

We are especially proud of our graduating Seniors and wish them all the best as they begin this exciting new chapter in their lives. Thank you to everyone who helped make this school year so meaningful and successful!

School Buddies Program with City of Sandusky Schools High School and Intermediate students was a great year! 🎉

Students celebrated with Certificates of Participation, a popcorn bar, and creating DREAM/VISION BOARDS as they reflected on their future goals, dreams, and aspirations.

We are incredibly proud of the friendships, leadership, and positive mentoring relationships that were built throughout the school year. A special congratulations and best wishes to our graduating high school seniors as they begin an exciting new chapter beyond high school. Thank you for being positive role models and making a lasting impact on the younger students you mentored.

Community Youth Mentoring was proud to present all of the students at Sandusky Central Catholic with Certificates of Participation to celebrate their commitment to the School Buddies Mentoring Program. The students also enjoyed a fun popcorn bar as part of the celebration! 🍿

For their final activity of the year, each student wrote on a beach ball about their summer plans, dreams, and goals, a wonderful way to look ahead with excitement and positivity.

We are so proud of the friendships, encouragement, and growth that took place throughout the school year. Thank you to all of our Big Buddies, Little Buddies, school staff, and volunteers for making this program so meaningful.

Vermilion Elementary Buddies had an amazing time designing and creating their very own custom T-shirts during our School Buddies session! 🎨👕

The creativity and imagination that each Little Buddy and Big Buddy showed was incredible, with every shirt becoming a unique masterpiece filled with color, personality, and fun designs. One of the most special moments was when the Big Buddies autographed their Little Buddies’ shirts, creating a keepsake they will always remember.

Activities like these help build confidence, self-expression, friendships, and lasting mentoring connections. 💙💚

Sandusky Central Catholic Buddies had so much fun building towers with marshmallows and spaghetti noodles during our School Buddies session!

Our Big Buddies and Little Buddies worked together in teams, using creativity, communication, and teamwork to see who could construct the tallest tower. The friendly competition brought lots of laughs, encouragement, and problem-solving skills as everyone learned the importance of working together.

It was wonderful to see the connections being built, not only with the towers, but also through mentoring friendships.
