Sandpoint Area Seniors - SASi

(SASi) has a mission of providing all area senior citizens over 60 years old with nutritional meals and to serve as a gathering place and informational site for social, recreational and wellness programs. We offer exercise classes, games like pinochle, bingo, bunco, bridge, pool and more! As part of our mission, we deliver meals each week to those seniors that are homebound. Our volunteer drivers

travel throughout Bonner County to bring up to five meals per week to each homebound client. Please join us for our lunch program. We serve lunch Mon-Thurs at 11:30 with reservations. Reservations need to be made no later than 9:30 the day of. For registered 60 yrs and older we suggest a $7 donation or whatever you would like to donate. For non-registered and/or under 60 yrs there is a mandatory $10 charge. Mon-Wed we offer salad bar that opens at 11:00. We also have a seasonal, once a month Breakfast Fundraiser on the last Friday of the month at 8:30am with reservations, no later than the Thursday before by 3:00pm. We have a medical lending closet to help those in need. The days and hours for this closet differ from our normal business hours and are on a first come fist serve basis.We highly recommend calling before coming. The medical closet has items such as walkers, canes, toilet risers and more. We do not accept adult diapers, hygiene products, broken items or fabric items. Medical Equipment is available Mon- Thurs only 8:00-10:30 & 12:30-2:30. We are always seeking donations and volunteers.
