Sanborn Fire Company Sanborn Fire Company is a 100% volunteer Fire Company that provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services throughout our community.

Sanborn Fire Company, Inc. proudly protects approximately 12,000 citizens living in an area of 8 square miles. We operate out of a single station located in the heart of Sanborn that protect primarily a residential area, including Niagara County Community College. Our department is a private department whose members are 100% volunteer. Sanborn Fire Company was founded in September of 1883, and was the first of four volunteer fire companies founded in the Town of Lewiston.

On Wednesday January 7th we were dispatched automatic mutual aid with Lewiston Fire Company No. 2 to a fully involved barn fire in the 2000 block of Saunders Settlement Rd. We would like to thank all our members who left work to staff our apparatus as well as all our mutual aid partners that were on scene as well. A huge thank you goes out to Bergholz Volunteer Fire Dept for standing by in our quarters to cover any calls for the first portion of the incident and then to Wendelville Fire Company for standing by for the remainder of the incident and for helping us out by assisting us with washing our hose, also shoutout to RobShots and The Action Alerts for the photos and to The Little Bakery for the pizza delivery
