Occupy Marin

Occupy Marin We are Occupy Marin. We provide support, resources and humans for the local encampments in the Bay Area, across the nation, and around the world.

We stand in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Together and each individual Occupation that has erupted in solidarity with Occupy Wall St. We provide information and resources on the Occupations around the world as well as information and resources that pertain to Marin County and individual citizens. We come together in a General Assembly forum to decide the courses of action to take in s

olidarity with our relative Occupations, including Occupy Wall St. We function individually and in groups as a forum for initiating direct action to better our community and the world, and we function as a hive support for our relative Occupations in the world. We are a collective of individuals. While some of us may be active or inactive members of organizations, we come to Occupy Marin as representatives of ourselves, and not as any political organization or entity. We are a diverse and variegated county. Occupy Marin welcomes all races, genders, cultures, orientations, faiths, religions, ethnicities, and social status, every individual. We are committed to connecting the community in Marin to build a support system, not just for the people in our county, but for everyone. We are committed to supporting ALL of our relative Occupations. May the blessings we all know are bountiful touch the whole world NOW. http://twitter.com/OccupyMarin

Please add your voice to those who are speaking up in support of the residents of Golden Gate Village. It's long past time they were allowed to have a real voice in their own future. "Despite unanimous public pressure and increasing community awareness of his behavior, Mr. Jordan continues a divisive, wasteful and multi-year pretense of cooperation with the Golden Gate Village Resident Council (GGVRC) while refusing to do what is right, equitable or fair."

Corrina Gould: We need you all to show up. Bring your signs to wave. We need to support our relatives in Hawaii that are standing for their Sacred Site, Mauna Kea. UC BERKELEY is supporting the desecration of this Sacred Site. We must stand together for the protection of all sacred sites.
