🎓Welcome back to school, students!Today at Academies of Education and Empowerment, I was joined by LAUSD Superintendent Carvalho where we heard from students earning college credit while still in high school through the Dual Enrollment program.It’s a game-changer — saving time, saving money, and opening doors for students, especially those from working families.While the Trump administration is making college LESS affordable by cutting Pell Grant eligibility and limiting federal student loans - continues to innovate and provide opportunities to help students keep costs down for their college education.We should be opening doors, not closing them. Let’s make higher education more affordable, more accessible, and give every student the chance to succeed.
