Peck Park Swimming Pool

Peck Park Swimming Pool Peck Park Pool is one of 16 year-round swimming pools in the City of Los Angeles.

The pool is under Council District 15 and serves the Communities of San Pedro, Lomita, Wilmington, Palos Verdes, and Harbor City. The pool is outdoor and heated (at a comfortable 84 degree) which provides for Aquatic Programming such as Recreational Swim, Lap Swimming, Youth and Adult Swim Lessons, Private Swim Lessons, Swim Team (September-December), Synchronized Swimming and Water Polo (January - May), and Aqua Aerobics.

Pool Status update: Ok guys, we just got word the pool should be open in 4-5 weeks. meaning we should be open for the summer. we'll post registration dates and times when we know more about an opening date. Thank you for your continued patience. we will update you all when we know more.

Good afternoon everyone, this is just a brief update on the pool.
Our tentative date to open will be Tuesday April 5th 2016.
Our pool operational hours and days will remain the same.

Good Afternoon,

We received an update from our Construction and Maintenance Supervisor.

We were informed that the Electrical panel is ordered;but, what we initially thought would take two (2) weeks for delivery will take five (5) weeks.

The installation will take one (1) week.

The inspection/permit from DWP will take approximately two (2) weeks.

Peck Park pool is slated to open April 5th, 2016.

We are in the process of contacting the parents of our team sports, Learn to Swim Program and Aquacise to encourage them to continue their specific programs at

Hey everyone a quick update on our pool.We will be tentatively closed until 02/14/16. There was a small electrical fire in our filter room. The facility is without electricity. If you have been trying to call, the phones do not work. We will do updates on Facebook and our website laparks.org if you have any other questions you can call Citywide Aquatics at (323) 906-7953. Alright some new changes going on here at the pool.
our Fall season hours are Tuesday-Friday 3:30-8pm for both rec and lap swim (Lane length is 20 yards.) we do have lessons and swim team going on from 5pm-6pm so lap lanes may be limited. Saturday and Sunday we are open from 1pm-5pm for both rec and lap swim (lane length is 33 yards.) we are closed on Mondays again. We are now offering aquacise 5 days a week. Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-11am & 6pm-7pm, Wednesday and Fridays from 6pm-7pm and Saturdays from 12pm-1pm. So come on down!

OK, registration for the fall 2015 season will be this Sunday Sept. 13th at 10am. Yes, that does include swim team. swim lessons, and aquacise. Swim team will be $50 Swim lessons will be $40 and aquacise will be $40. All kids need to be tested, for teams as well as lessons. we will be testing all this week. Pool hours are 2pm-8pm today thru friday and 1pm-5pm saturday.
