We know that children may grow up with both Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACES and ACES). While adversity can impact a child’s long-term health, positive experiences, like steady supportive relationships with caregivers and adults, and feeling safe at home can buffer those effects. By uplifting the positive and addressing the negative, we can help build resilience and create better long-term outcomes for our children.
