CSUSM community members showed up for Charlie Kirk. This vigil is dedicated to his life and legacy. We mourned, we prayed, we shared stories of Charlie's life, and reflected on the future of our country. Charlie Kirk was a leader, a father, a Christian, a husband, and overall a towering figure in America. People who agreed and even disagreed with him had nothing kind words and stories to tell about him over the megaphone. Charlie has influenced countless lives, especially young conservative leaders. We will not let the momentum and infrastructure you inspired die. The evildoers in this nation condoning this heinous political violence will be held to account. We will never capitulate and continue courageously going forward to save this nation.
