*New* Volunteer Clearance Requirements for 24-25

We take the safety of our students and staff seriously, and a part of this is ensuring everyone who is on a school campus is cleared and approved to be present. As a result, there is a new volunteer clearance process with different requirements for different types of school or classroom volunteer commitments. https://www.smusd.org/community/volunteers

Now happening! “Please note that Schoolhouse Way will be closed to traffic from 8/1 to 8/3. Feel free to spread the word to the entire San Elijo community.

The District will be resurfacing and repainting Schoolhouse Way from Thursday, August 1 through Saturday, August 3.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer break and looking forward to school starting soon! We've had some great updates to SEES this summer, including resurfacing and repainting the blacktops, resealing the playgrounds, adding more playground equipment, installing new flooring in the office, and more!
