San Diego North Economic Development Council More than twenty years ago, San Diego's North County was known more for its skateboarding talent than for its executive talent.

We work collaboratively with community partners, business leaders, Chambers of Commerce, and government entities to attract, retain and grow business and jobs in the North San Diego County region. Recognizing this, the San Diego North EDC was established in 1998 by a group of local business, educational, and civic leaders to improve economic growth in the North County region through attraction, re

tention and new business development. Today, North County stands as one of the world's premier destinations for a number of global industries including biotech, clean tech, Craft Brewing, action sports, and a host of other sectors.
