"Jimmy Wayne is a former foster kid turned country music singer/songwriter whose songs, story and walk halfway across America in 2010 highlight his mission to raise awareness for kids in foster care. His song, 'Do You Believe Me Now', was #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart and earned BMI’s prestigious Million-Air Award for receiving one million radio spins in America. Jimmy is the author of Walk to Beautiful, his (three time) New York Times best-selling memoir and the author of Paper Angels, a novel and made-for-TV movie. Jimmy Wayne is the youngest recipient to receive the Salvation Army's William Booth award and In June of 2016 President George H. W. Bush presented Jimmy with the prestigious Points of Light Award.
