Boil Water Notice Lifted

For customers who were placed under a Boil Water Notice due to the line break on 1101, we have received confirmation from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) that the notice has been lifted.

As of today, September 2, 2026, you are no longer required to boil your water prior to consumption.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience and cooperation while the issue was resolved.

🚨 BOIL WATER NOTICE REMAINS IN EFFECT
Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD) is notifying affected customers that the Boil Water Notice remains in effect due to the potential presence of contaminants in the water distribution system.
The first round of sampling has been completed, but additional sampling is required before the notice can be lifted.
Customers in the affected area should continue to boil water for at least two minutes or use bottled water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and food preparation.
DO NOT STOP BOILING WATER UNTIL CCSUD OFFICIALLY LIFTS THE NOTICE.
CCSUD will provide an update as soon as satisfactory water quality results are received. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

BOIL WATER NOTICE

For customers affected by the emergency 12” water line repair, Crystal Clear Special Utility District has issued a Boil Water Notice.

As a precaution, affected customers are advised to boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, preparing food, making ice, or brushing their teeth.

Please continue to follow notice until CCSUD provides an official update that the water is safe for normal use.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to restore and maintain safe water service.

🚨🚨🚨2pm update. 🚨🚨🚨

Crews have the second leak repaired and are back filling the excavation sight now.

As you can see it’s a tight space to work in with other underground utilities being so close to our main line.

Next steps are pressuring up and flushing.

While there is no way to predict events that have transpired over the last 20 hours, our crews worked non stop to do their best to get your services restored.

For those of you who received a boil water notice, the soonest it can be rescinded is Tuesday. This is something out of CCSUD’s control. No certified laboratories are open on the weekend, and the test takes 24 hours to ensure the water is free of contaminates.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced over this outage period.
