Today’s Child Nutrition end-of-year event was a truly special moment for our team. It gave us the opportunity to pause, come together, and sincerely recognize the dedication, heart, and hard work that so many of our employees bring to our students every day.
We proudly celebrated our Employees of the Year, honored staff milestones for years of service, and shared a deeply heartfelt goodbye with retirees and team members who have given decades of their lives to serving others through our cafeterias.
We extend our most sincere gratitude to:
• Teresa Fontaney (High School CN Assistant) – 25 years of service ✨
• Yolanda Perez (Mendez Cafeteria Lead) – 21 years of service ✨
• Nancy Lucio (Mendez Cafeteria Lead) – 29 years of service ✨
And we also say a heartfelt farewell to Teresa Guzman from the Crockett café team for 15 years of service.
Each of these individuals has been a steady presence, a source of care, and a true reflection of what it means to serve with pride and compassion. Their impact goes far beyond meals served—it lives in the students they’ve supported, the teams they’ve strengthened, and the example they’ve set for all of us.
As they move into retirement and new chapters ahead, we send them off with full hearts and deep gratitude. They will be truly missed and always remembered as part of our Child Nutrition family. 💜
