We were honored to receive the Chief’s Recognition Award from Chief Ken Plunkett and the Escondido Police Department.
We are grateful for their partnership and support to continue the mission of giving hope, healing, and justice to our members.

Congratulations to our One Safe Place North team from One Safe Place: San Diego County Family Justice Centers, who received special recognition by the Escondido Police Department last week!

Last Thursday, March 12, 2026, they were honored with a special award by the Escondido Police Department for the incredible work they do every day – victim advocates, investigators, analysts, partners, student workers, volunteers, attorneys and therapy dogs.

A special thank you goes to Senior DA Investigator Tony La Dell and Victim Assistance Program Manager Isabel Rodriguez who have gone above and beyond in their respective roles to strengthen our relationships with law enforcement from the Bureau and Advocacy/Victim Services lens. The rapport building and collaboration has helped us offer our members opportunities for hope, healing and justice.

Congratulations to OSP North, which is led by Taraneh Sarebanha – thank you for your leadership and the work of your entire team!

Our trusted Partner, Rancho Coastal Humane Society is hosting another no cost pet clinic on Saturday, 12/13 at their Encinitas location! Bring your dog or cat to get their routine vaccines, pet food, and more!

Our New Community Vaccination Clinics Are All About Affordable Access

We know that veterinary care can be expensive—and sometimes out of reach for families who love their pets. That’s why on Saturday, December 13 from 9am–1pm, Rancho Coastal will host another free, on-site Community Vaccination Clinic.

With the opening of Charlotte’s Medical Center last fall, we remain committed to keeping pets healthy, happy, and in the homes of the people who love them. This clinic will take place on the Rancho Coastal campus, right alongside Brock’s Community Pet Food Bank, which is open to all every Saturday from 9am–11am.

A huge thank-you to Petco Love for their sponsorship and generous support. We’re also grateful to SNAP and San Diego Humane Society for joining us on-site to provide additional support services.
