Fire truck fun came to camp! 🚒😄

Last week, our Summer Camp Session 1 campers had an exciting visit from the San Luis Fire Department. Firefighters shared valuable fire safety tips, talked about their important role in protecting our community, and gave campers an up-close look at the fire truck and equipment.

Campers had the opportunity to learn about emergency response, ask questions, and even climb aboard the fire truck for a hands-on experience. Seeing the equipment up close and getting a glimpse of a firefighter’s daily responsibilities made the visit both fun and educational.

We are grateful to our Fire Department for taking the time to educate and inspire our campers and help make this summer a fun and memorable experience! ❤️🚒✨

As the second-largest nuclear power plant in the United States, Palo Verde generates enough electricity to serve more than four million Arizona residents and is uniquely cooled using reclaimed wastewater.

Thank you to APS for coordinating this insightful and educational tour! We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the innovative infrastructure helping power Arizona's future.
