Good things are happening in our schools, where students can start working towards their futures before they even graduate. 🌟

Through Dual Enrollment and College and Career Access Pathway (CCAP) programs, high school students can take college courses during the school day and earn credits towards both high school and college transcripts, right from their own school. These partnerships with local community colleges make higher education more accessible and help students get a head start on their college and career goals.

For the past two years, 42 counselors, wellness coaches, and licensed clinicians across 29 schools have been strengthening their ability to support students through trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions.

The beginning of the new school year brings new teachers, and new and old friends. Teachers welcome their students by being warm and inviting and modeling kindness, empathy and respect.
Beginning of the year activities often include collaboration, and group projects that allow the students and the teacher to get to know each other. Conversation develops social and communication skills. A comfortable environment encourages friendships to grow and a sense of belonging.
