Did you know one of our libraries has an ocean view? 🌊 Another, an historic jail? The Quail Trail of 14 County of SLO Public Libraries is full of adventures. This summer as you explore our beautiful county, drop by a library branch you've never visited. Help rescue Quincy the Quail by choosing an adventure. Join in on a program or storytime, cool off, grab some great books - and don't forget to get your Summer Guide stamped! See you on the Quail Trail!

☀️Select branches will have additional summer hours during June and July! Shandon and San Miguel Libraries will be open an extra day so that folks can cool off from the summer heat. Oceano and Shell Beach Libraries, because of the temporary Arroyo Grande Library closure. Here are the extra summer hours:
⏰ Shandon Library, Thursdays 9a - 5pm (closed 12:30 - 1)
⏰ San Miguel Library, Fridays, 1-5p
⏰ Oceano Library, Fridays 1-5p
⏰ Shell Beach Library, Thursdays 1-5p

Readers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to stop in for a Reading Guide and a big stack of books. Track your reading to spin the prize wheel, earn a free book, and get your own 100% recycled denim cute-as-a-quail book bag! You're invited to a celebration🎉 of the Nipomo Library's 30th Anniversary! Stop by on Wednesday June 10, 11a - 1p, for a free BBQ lunch (from 11:30 - 12:30), birthday cake, face painting, seed planting and a kickoff celebration of Summer Reading. We will also have a ribbon cutting for our new sunshade! This event is co-sponsored by Lucia Mar USD, Nipomo Friends of the Library, and the CA State Lunch at the Library Grant.
