Five Cities Professional Firefighters Local 4403 Welcome to Professional Firefighters Local 4403 page!We proudly serve the communities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Guadalupe, Halcyon & Oceano.

Established July 9, 2010 by a Joint Powers Agreement between the Cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Oceano Community Services District, the Five Cities Fire Authority is committed to serve the citizens of each community by protecting their lives, property and environment. In addition, to protecting our member communities, Five Cities Fire Authority also provides services to the Town of Hal

cyon and the Oceano Dunes State Vehicle Recreation Area. Our department provides a variety of services including fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical, prevention, community outreach/education and emergency preparedness.

Thanks for the participation from so many Fire Departments throughout the county for the 33rd annual Burn Relay yesterday. Huge success from North County and South, reaching over 8,000 kids! What a great fundraiser for Alisa Ann Ruch as well! Donations were made from all in the area to help sponsor kids to champ camp with their amazing wonderful volunteers. LATERAL AND ENTRY- LEVEL FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/EMT RECRUITMENT
ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATES MUST BE ON THE FCTC STATEWIDE ELIGIBILITY LIST WITH A
CPAT COMPLETED WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM APPLICATION CLOSING DATE.
LATERAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE
Salary Range: $6,408.00 - $7,789.00 per month.

Hero spent some time at the station this morning providing emotional support to the crews and working on some training. Hero is a 5 month old Newfie/lab mix through that a 4403 member is puppy raising. He is training to be service/mobility/support dog and an all around good boy!

Topics include routine tests, inspections, and servicing functions on the systems and components unique to wildland fire apparatus; operating a wildland fire apparatus; and producing an effective fire stream.
