Turkeys at the Hayward Plunge on Thanksgiving?
Reggie the turkey from Sulphur Creek won’t be swimming at the Plunge on Thursday but YOU CAN! Come out to the 18th Annual Karen Gordin Turkey Swim and Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, November 28th from 8:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Hayward Plunge. Karen was a beloved H.A.R.D. lifeguard who tragically passed away; aquatic staff have held the memorial swim in her honor for 18 years. The scholarship committee will award two scholarships starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by light refreshments. Come out to swim some laps, enjoy the morning and support a wonderful cause.
