Hope yo see you all!! Please donate to Jennifer Brouhard and Valarie Bachelor as we approach this fantastic campaign event.

Hi, friends! I’m very proud to support Jennifer Brouhard and Valarie Bachelor for re-election to the Oakland School Board.

They are fighting the good fight, and can speak on incredible results. I had the pleasure of serving on the San Leandro School Board while they started their careers on the Oakland School Board, and continue to support/collaborate as partners in education. I’m honored to join Assemblymember Mia Bonta, Supervisor Nikki Bas, and a great group of hosts for a fundraiser to support Jennifer and Valarie’s campaigns✊🏽

So… come join us! Tuesday, September 15, 5:30 p.m at Fluid510 (1544 Broadway, Oakland 94612). RSVP Link: bit.ly/4zFS3Fc

Happy Labor Day🛠️ Today I’m thinking of my dad who was the hardest worker I knew. I’ll never forget the stories he and mom told me about organizing for Safeway workers in 1999 for UFCW Local 5 (was 805 back then) from their home store #908 in the Dimond.

My dad (and mom of course) is part of the reason I chose to become a union leader myself. Labor is important to me. Very proud of my roots.

I'm honored to have earned the endorsement of our newest member of Congress, Dr. Aisha Wahab! I have known Aisha since her service as Mayor Pro Tem on the Hayward City Council, and have since then been partners on a number of issues. To have the endorsement of my own Congresswoman means so much to me, and showcases the many partnerships that I am bringing to the San Leandro City Council🇺🇸

Honored to attend the Alameda Labor Unionist Dinner in two hats tonight!✊🏽 First, to show up and support my friend and City Council colleague Dylan Boldt for earning the Elected of the Year award — for keeping workers at heart, and fighting hard to ensure that San Leandro workers are represented well and fairly. So proud!! And, I attended beside educator colleagues with the ALCOSTA SCC representing my union the San Lorenzo Education Association. Was very happy to spend the evening with union educators who face similar issues to our own.

We are excited to share that Townsend Public Affairs has successfully secured $2,492,250 in partnership with the City of San Leandro through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's San Francisco Bay Program Water Quality Restoration Grants!

This funding will support the installation of inland storm trash capture devices, helping prevent trash and pollutants from entering local waterways and improving water quality throughout the community. These improvements will support a cleaner, healthier environment while advancing San Leandro's long-term commitment to protecting its natural resources and the San Francisco Bay.

At TPA, we are proud to champion initiatives that strengthen California communities and protect our environment. This latest achievement is another example of the City's commitment to creating a clean, healthy, and sustainable community for residents and future generations.

Congratulations, San Leandro, and thank you to everyone involved in making this important project possible!
