A few months ago, our team had the privilege of sitting down with Mrs. Martinez de Torres, owner of El Gran Gallo Restaurant, to hear her story, her passion, and the heart behind her business.

We were deeply saddened to learn of her passing. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to capture a small part of her story, and today, we’re resharing this video in her memory and in honor of the legacy she leaves behind. ❤️

Her hard work and dedication will continue to be remembered through the business she built and the many people she served along the way.

We encourage our San Juan community to continue showing their love and support for El Gran Gallo and the family carrying her legacy forward.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and everyone at El Gran Gallo. May her legacy continue to live on in our community. 🕊️

DeAngelo’s Gourmet Italian Food is preparing to open its second San Juan location at:
