Real Playhouse is reopening!
The long-awaited Grand Reopening of Camino Real Playhouse takes place Friday, September 11, 2026, as they open the doors of their brand-new home in San Juan Capistrano.
They are launching the 2026–2027 season with the hilarious musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (based on the classic film), running September 11 through October 4.

Pacific Surfliner Service Changes – August 12 & 13, 2026
Critical repair work is underway in the San Clemente and Oceanside areas, including overnight bridge repairs by North County Transit District and emergency Metrolink repairs on adjacent tracks impacted by high tides.
As a result, select Pacific Surfliner trains will be cancelled or modified on Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13:
Southbound
• Train 588 – Cancelled
• Trains 790 & 794 – Terminate at Los Angeles Union Station. Passengers continuing to San Diego will transfer to Bus 3594 (makes all scheduled stops except San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente Pier)
Northbound
• Train 591 – Operates from Downtown San Diego to Oceanside only. Connecting bus service provided from Oceanside to Los Angeles (makes all scheduled stops except San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente Pier)
• Trains 593 & 595 – Cancelled
Please check your itinerary, allow extra time, and consider alternative travel if you’re headed through the San Juan Capistrano / San Clemente area.
