Congratulations to the first in-person LHS Haiku Contest winners, Ethan, Ankita and Kevin 🎉 Thank you to all our poets! Our staff judges remarked that the quality has improved, and we were hard-pressed to decide on the favorites. Poems have unique flavors, and our discerning judges loved them all! Finally, thank you to Poetry and Students for Literature Clubs for hosting the workshops. May this year usher in many more community writing events to come.

Guided by their coach Al Ulbrickson and boat builder George Pocock, the team learns to row as one and sets their sights on competing in the 1936 Olympics in N**i Germany....

Review by Catherine While traveling on the Blue Train, the daughter of a millionaire is murdered and her legendary jewels vanish. Her failed marriage left bitterness and also opportunity, giving motives for her murder. The great detective Hercule Poirot soon finds himself entangled in the case. In the beginning, I found it hard to get into the book, and the conversations in the later parts seemed more random....
