Lorenzo Salgado Araujo PRESENTE! Joan Sebastian Guerrero PRESENTE! And all those that have been murdered, imprisoned by these criminal thugs at the direction of the pe*****le president and his thug government, reason why this concentration camp and data center the US govt intends to build in Gilroy, California must be taken down. ABOLISH ICE!!!
The people must demand that all of these concentration camps must be ABOLISHED. The people must demand that these criminal thugs imposing as ICE be prosecuted and imprisoned and justice must be had to all those who suffered and died at the hands of these fascists. These assassins are terrorizing working people and impacting the social, economic and political state of this country.
The lawsuit that was filed by the Santa Clara County and State of California temporarily stopped the construction of the concentration camp in Gilroy, California, but the people must continue organizing and fighting to take this concentration camp down now and forever; not only here but throughout the state and the country.
ICE has supposedly temporarily stopped hunting down people in their cars due to the victorious and militant protests and organizing against this repressive ICE and government throughout the country.
We call on the Gilroy City Council and the Morgan Hill City Council to take a responsible stance by defending the community they represent which are mostly agricultural families who will be victims of ICE. About 4.5% of the working population in Gilroy is employed directly in the agricultural sector. Stop being spineless! They refused to include themselves in the Santa Clara County and State of California lawsuit against the construction of this ICE concentration camp.
The Morgan Hill City Council stated they are a “welcoming city”. Welcoming ICE is not only shameful but turning their backs on the agricultural families they represent. If that is the case, then they do not deserve to represent the agricultural families and must be voted out!
The ECG 6 LLC, a subsidiary to the Elmwood Capital Group, LLC, located in Beverly Hills, CA (Los Angeles area), made a deal with the General Services Administration (GSA) contracting under the guise of “office use” for a span of 20 years at $26.5 mil, 18,700 square feet to Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE. The Elmwood Capital Group, LLC also owns two other concentration camps leased to Dept. Of Homeland Security; one in Pflugerville, Texas and the other in Montana.
The US govt has had a long history of intervention and warring throughout the world. Currently they are at war with Russia and losing that war in Ukraine. The US govt is also at war with Iran and bitterly losing it as well. US soldiers are dying in these wars, and the US govt refuses to report the casualties. Now, the US govt is at war with the people in this country, citizens and not. The US govt is acting like a wounded animal and trying to stay alive. The US govt is losing its grip and hegemony all over the world and in this country as well.
The drug epidemic is killing thousands of people. There are millions of people without a home and living in the streets. Social benefits are being cut off. Medical services are handed over to insurance companies charging high premium health rates. About 4.5% of the labor force participation fell to 61.5%, the lowest level seen in 50 years. Half of the people’s resources are spent in external and internal military wars. The country is deteriorating and reflected in all spheres: socially, economically, environmentally, and politically.
Defeating the repressive arm of the US govt ICE is existential for the well being of humanity, but most importantly for working people producers of the wealth of this country. An injury to one is an injury to all!
