Today in the garden, for about 10 minutes, my class sat still (as still as 22 first graders can sit) and waited to see our Western Bluebirds fly into their nesting box to feed their babies. Sure enough, first mommy came with a worm, then daddy, who waited until mom had left the box before he went in with his worm. The kids definitely felt the magic.
