Congratulations to our very own Greg Brown on his election to National Vice Chief!

Greg Brown has been elected to serve as the 2021 National Vice Chief of the Order of the Arrow! He is a Vigil Arrowman of Saklan Lodge, Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council. Greg previously served as the W-3S section chief and is from San Jose, CA.

Our 2019 Saklan Lodge Vigil Honorees!

We are sad to report that long time Scouter, Alan White has passed away from complications with surgery. Alan served Scouting for 40+ years. He was active in Pioneer District, serving on the Commissioner Staff, Roundtable team, Camp Hi-Sierra and Order of the Arrow. He received the Silver Beaver recognition in 2000. The council board will pass a Resolution of Respect for his many years of service to Scouting. Our Scouting families' thoughts and prayers are with Alan's family. He will be missed.

With extreme sadness, we recognize the passing of long time leader Alan White. Alan served both Miwok and Saklan lodges, and was a long time adviser to the Hattape Chapter. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

May the Great Master of all Scouts be with us, until we meet again.
