We enjoyed hosting our monthly Art Therapy classes at the Palo Alto VA Hospital for patients at the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center, Blind Rehabilitation Center, PTRP, Spinal Cord Injury Unit, Addiction Recovery! We recently added a second monthly class for IETP (SOF). This month’s project was early Autumn and apple themed art! During class, we also distributed teddy bears to patients. Thank you Gabrielle for your generous donation 🙂 We are always grateful to the VA staff for their support and look forward to returning next month! ❤️ 🥰

We were so proud to once again sponsor our mobile family pantry grocery distribution at Moffett Field Base Housing! We were able to provide non-perishable grocery essentials, cleaning essentials, and books to military families! In support of airmen returning from deployment, we were honored to participate in today’s 129th RQW Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program Post- Deployment Event in Seaside, CA! As a resource provider, we shared our program information and connected with service members and their families to ensure a successful transition home. The 129th will always hold a special place in our hearts and we look forward to continuing to support their incredible unit ❤️

We were honored to sponsor our Mobile Family Pantry grocery distribution during the Su***de Prevention and Addiction Recovery event at the Menlo Park VA in observance of International Overdose Awareness Day! We provided no cost groceries to Veterans struggling with food insecurity as VA staff shared resources and counseled attendees. We are always proud to partner with the VA and are always grateful for their continued support.

We enjoyed hosting our monthly Art Therapy classes at the Palo Alto VA Hospital for patients at the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center, Blind Rehabilitation Center, PTRP, Spinal Cord Injury Unit, Addiction Recovery! We also recently added a second monthly class for IETP (SOF). This month’s project was neuroart and luau themed wood crafts! With our IETP patients, we focused on painted neuro art in an effort to process trauma and promote stress reduction. We are always grateful to the VA staff for their support and look forward to returning next month! ❤️ 🥰

We were honored to sponsor our monthly Mobile Family Pantry grocery distribution at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (Fort Miley)! Through this program, we distribute no-cost groceries on a monthly basis to SFVA Veteran patients who are struggling with food insecurity. This location serves both the urban population in SF and rural Veterans throughout Northern California who rely on the SFVA for care. Additionally, we provide groceries to discharging patients who screen positive for food insecurity. We are proud to have the VA tabling alongside us in an effort to connect Veterans with the longer term resources available to them. We are grateful to the VA for their continued support of our programs and look forward to returning next month!

The Cost of Courage Foundation Family Pantry at Presidio of Monterey (POM) has been re-stocked with grocery and personal care items and frozen meals! As always, military service members and their families on base can access the pantry at no cost. The Kids’ Book Corner has stuffed animals, books, and activities as well! We are grateful to everyone who continues to support our emergency aid programs! Your kindness makes a positive impact on military families in need ❤️

We are beyond grateful to KRTY and Cordevalle Winery for their incredible generosity in making The Cost of Courage Foundation the beneficiary of their Song and Wine Country Music Concert! A portion of special benefit ticket sales were donated to our organization in support of our programs that benefit Veterans, military service members, military families, and Gold Star Families! We want to extend a huge thank you to Nate Deaton and singer/songwriters Kelly Archer, Casey Brown, Lee Thomas Miller, and Tim Nichols who sang and shared stories behind the songs they have written for so many of today’s country artists! We truly appreciate all who came out to support our organization! It was such an amazing night that we will never forget!e
