Veterans like Rodger should not have to make the sacrifice of living in a car in order to afford necessities like a good meal and a quality life.

Thank you to all of our generous supporters who donated to our organization yesterday!!! It's a great motivation to know that we have kind friends and family who support our mission in helping Bay Area homeless veterans improve their lives. It's a continuous battle to reduce and eventually eliminate homelessness among veterans, but it is a battle we will continue to help fight. Thank you again!!

We had a wonderful Cesar Chavez celebration yesterday with our generous staff and resident cooks all working together to cook a hearty and homemade dinner of Enchiladas, Spanish rice, frijoles, etc. for our hungry veterans. The dinner does not symbolize the idea that Cesar and his legacy if primarily Mexican/Latino, our dinner symbolizes the COMMUNITY EFFORT that supported Chavez as a leader of a labor movement, the UFW, as a civil rights activist. Strong and inspirational leaders like Chavez always have a strong community of supporters and contributors, such as our organization.

Happy Birthday Cesar Chavez! Today is Cesar Chavez Day in various cities across the country. Support the legacy of Cesar Chavez and go see the movie on his birthday!
