Gold fields Ghana foundation has donated vehicles and motorcycles to four institutions across the Tarkwa Nsuaem and Prestea Huni Valley Municipalities to support their operations and improve mobility.
As part of the donation, two vehicles will be presented to the Ministry of Education, one each to the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Education Directorate and the Prestea Huni Valley Municipal Education Directorate.
The vehicles will help the Education Directorates with official field movements, school monitoring and supervision, educational programmes, stakeholder engagements, and other administrative activities across their respective municipalities.
With many schools and educational facilities spread across different communities, reliable means of transportation are important for education officials to reach schools, monitor activities, engage teachers and communities, and respond promptly to issues that require their presence on the ground.
This intervention by Gold Fields Ghana is therefore not just about providing vehicles—it is about improving institutional mobility and strengthening the delivery of essential public services within the two municipalities.
