Silicon Valley Adult Education (SVAE) offers a wide variety of classes to adults in the San Jose Unified School District (SJUSD) service area that include: English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship; Adult Basic Education; Adult High School Diploma program; High School Equivalency preparation; and Career Technical Education (CTE) classes. SVAE, a unit of MetroED, provides educational oppo
rtunities to adults who live in the SJUSD service area and to those who participate in the CalWORKs and Job Corps programs. MetroED’s Regional testing center is open to adults throughout Santa Clara County.
