Since its inception, Hearts & Minds has provided services to over 6,000 individuals living with dementia and their families. Founded in 1984, Hearts & Minds Activity Center is the first large-capacity dementia-specific adult day program in the country. ergenerational Services through our licensed, on-site childcare center. Hearts & Minds provides quality care for up to 90 clients per day, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. 99% percent of the caregivers we serve report a reduction in their stress level as a result of bringing their loved one to the Center, and 100% percent of caregivers report that the attendance of their family member helps maintain or stabilize their functioning abilities. Overall, caregivers feel that the services of the Hearts & Minds Activity Center help to delay nursing home placement and improve their ability to care for their family member.
