MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the CPOA is to maintain a leadership role in empowering and representing the members’ best interest. CPOA’s “Goal is to continue to move our association forward in a positive direction within the law enforcement community. The CPOA Board of Directors will seek a proactive exchange of ideas with the membership to enab

le our association to maintain a professional and respected approach in resolving the many issues now and in the future. The CPOA will be active in assisting the public to gain insight and awareness of the unique demands of our profession. The CPOA Board of Directors will work collectively with the membership for the common interest of the entire membership. All “Members” will be treated with Respect, Fairness, and Equality, while maintaining a global outlook for the membership as a totality. The Board will maintain an open door policy with its members, to include any questions and input you may have as we endeavor to secure the brightest possible future for the entire membership.

Santa Clara County Sheriff's Deputy Alecia Wright has recently diagnosed with cancer. After 27 years of dedication to the agency, she was set to retire this year but now must embark on the difficult journey of aggressive medical treatments. Those treatments demand her to relocate closer to her medical team, involving numerous doctors, nurses, and testing. Let us rally together to show our care and support for Alecia and her family during this challenging times.
