At the Junior League of San Jose, we celebrate Find the Good Day every year alongside 295+ Leagues worldwide. We believe in finding the good in every circumstance, in each other, and most importantly, in our community!

This month, we've got something meaningful planned at our General Membership Meeting (GMM), and you won't want to miss it! Grab a bite, meet up with fellow Members, and be part of a moment that captures what this League is all about.

Today, and every day, we try to find the good here at the Junior League of San Jose. Today that's especially hard, as we share that we're pausing our local Find the Good Day celebration this year due to capacity constraints. Find the Good Day is a nationwide celebration of the everyday impact Junior League volunteers make in their communities, and JLSJ has celebrated this day in various forms since its founding. Because at its heart, Find the Good Day is a reminder that good is all around us, in our neighbors, our volunteers, and the everyday moments where community shows up for itself.

We're working directly with our sponsors, ticket holders, and other interested parties to make this right, and we'll soon be sharing more about this year's four Find the Good Award winners and the grant awards going to their local organizations.

With gratitude to our Members, supporters, and community who make that good possible every day. 💛

This past Saturday, NorCalRenoHon, a regional affinity group connecting the Junior Leagues of Northern California, Reno, and Honolulu, brought together Presidents, President-Elects, EVPs, EVP-Elects, Board members, VPs, and emerging leaders for a virtual half-day retreat — and the energy in the room (and breakout rooms!) was everything. 🙌

Leading a League is meaningful work, and having peers who understand that journey makes all the difference. NorCalRenoHon exists to remind us that there are sisters in leadership across our region ready to share, support, and show up for one another.

Thank you to every League who joined in, shared openly, and reminded us why this regional community exists!

If you know someone giving back to Greater San Jose, submit her nomination for the 2026 Find the Good Day Awards before the August 19th deadline. It only takes a quick submission to give an inspiring volunteer the recognition she deserves (plus a grant of up to $2,000 for her non-profit!).

Then, mark your calendar for Saturday, September 19th to cheer on all our nominees live! Treat yourself and the women in your life to an uplifting Saturday morning filled with brunch, community, and celebration.

Do you know an extraordinary woman volunteer creating positive change in Greater San Jose? Put her in the spotlight by submitting a nomination for the 2026 Find the Good Day Awards! 🌟

Submitting a nomination is quick and easy—you don't need to know every detail about her work, just a desire to highlight her impact. Finalists and winners will earn up to $2,000 in grants for a Santa Clara County non-profit of their choice! 💖

Once you’ve submitted your nomination, make sure to join us for the celebration on Saturday, September 19th at the Joan Pisani Community Center in Saratoga. Grab your tickets and bring your friends, colleagues, and the women you care about for a wonderful morning of brunch, connection, and wine (courtesy of in-kind donor A Drop of Sunshine!).

NorCalRenoHon is the regional community connecting the 11 Junior Leagues of Northern California, Reno, and Honolulu — bringing together League Presidents, EVPs, and emerging leaders for peer connection, shared learning, and honest conversation about what it takes to lead a League right now.

We are so excited to have Katelyn's national perspective in the room with ours — just a few weeks away!
