POV: It’s yearbook day but make it 1920. 🎞️ ✍️

While students across San José are busy signing yearbook pages and making new memories today, the California Room at San Jose Public Library is keeping the memories of the past century safe.

Located at the King Library in Downtown San José, the California Room is home to an incredible collection of yearbooks from schools across Santa Clara County dating back over a century. Whether you’re researching your family tree or just want to see the vintage fashion and local history, these archives are a true community treasure.

Beyond yearbooks, you can also find inside the California Room:
✅ Historic photographs
✅ San José city directories
✅ Aerial photography
✅ Local newspapers and clippings

📍 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library (5th floor) in Downtown San José
📜 Plan your visit to explore the archives at sjpl.org/CARoom

The San José Public Library Foundation is proud to support library resources and the preservation of our city’s story. To learn more about our work, visit sjplf.org/Impact.
