We’ve recently received two Browning Silver 20 gauges and two Browning X-Bolt 2 rifles, chambered in .243 and 6.5 PRC. These are all youth models, and they are going to open up some exciting possibilities for future Foundation events.

More and more, we’re hearing from Veterans and donors who want to see us incorporate more family-focused events into what we do. We love that idea. If we’re going down that road, we want to make sure the families we serve have the opportunity to create core memories together—and have nothing but the best in their hands while doing it.

These fi****ms will help us create opportunities for Veterans to introduce their kids and families to the outdoors, hunting, and everything that comes along with time spent together in the field.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Browning for helping us make this happen. Your support is going to help us create some pretty special memories for some pretty deserving families.

We are extremely excited to partner with the good folks at B4 Outdoors to offer a fall doe hunt in Northern Missouri!

We first met Kevin from B4 a few years ago in Wisconsin, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. When he reached out and invited us to send some Veterans their way, we jumped all over the opportunity!

This is going to be an incredible weekend for four of our Kniestedt Foundation alumni, filled with time in the field, new experiences, great food, and, most importantly, the opportunity to make some lasting memories with some great people.

A huge THANK YOU to Kevin and the entire crew at B4 Outdoors for opening your doors and making this opportunity happen for these fellas. We appreciate you more than you know!

We can’t wait to see what this weekend has in store!

SEPTEMBER 2, 1945

81 years ago, history was made aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay as representatives of Japan formally signed the surrender documents, officially bringing World War II to an end.

The deck of the Mighty Mo became the site of a moment that changed the course of history and marked the end of the most devastating conflict the world had ever seen.

Today, we remember the millions of Americans and Allied forces who served, sacrificed, and fought to defend freedom—and we honor those who never made it home.

We remember their service. We honor their sacrifice. We cherish the freedom they secured.

Never forget.

SEPTEMBER IS FINALLY HERE!

For us, September means one thing… it’s time to chase some animals!

Here’s what we have lined up for the month:

September 5–6: Missouri Dove Hunt
September 7–16: Wisconsin Bear Hunt
September 20–25: Wyoming Mule Deer Hunt

It’s time to get some very deserving Veterans on the road and make some great memories in some beautiful places, surrounded by some even better people.

Three hunts. Three great destinations. A whole lot of memories waiting to be made.

A big shout out to the Tomah Warrens Sportsman’s Alliance for featuring some Gravick Ranch products at their recent archery league party!

These are some great folks who know how to shoot, have a good time, and apparently know how to season some meat!

We appreciate the support and can’t wait to get back up there, sling some more arrows, and share a few more good times with this crew!

The countdown is on! We are just 8 days away from the 2026 Kniestedt Foundation Missouri Dove Hunt, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back in the field with some incredible Veterans.

We can’t wait to make more memories, share more laughs, and create more moments just like this!

We’re excited to announce that the Kniestedt Foundation website has gotten a facelift! As we celebrate 10 years of the Foundation, we wanted our website to better represent who we are, what we do, and—most importantly—the Veterans and community that make this organization what it is.

The 2026 Kniestedt Foundation Alumni Float is officially in the books!

This year will be remembered as the year we were tested on just how committed we are to making this event happen. After trips that didn’t work out on the Osage Fork and the Big River, we decided to head back to a stretch of river we knew would have water in late August and plenty of fish, the Big Piney.

And man, did it deliver.

The weather couldn’t have been better, the fishing was great, and the river was exactly what we needed. But as always, those things pale in comparison to simply having some time on the water with some good fellas.

Oh, and apparently something was definitely happening on this stretch of river that we had never seen before. We had a copperhead swim right through the group and more than a dozen confirmed cottonmouth sightings. A little eerie? Absolutely. But mostly…pretty darn cool.

Another successful Alumni Float in the books. Another weekend spent building friendships, making memories, telling stories, and enjoying some time together.

This is why we do what we do.

On our way home from the Alumni Float this weekend a lady stopped us at a gas station to inquire about our trip. She said, “my goodness, don’t you guys get hungry out there?” We told her we make due. Truth is, we probably gain weight out there.

Benefit Golf Tournament for Justin Orrick

Army Veteran and Kniestedt Foundation alum Justin Orrick proudly served our country until a service-connected injury forced his medical retirement. After years of living with severe degenerative disc disease, Justin recently underwent neck surgery and is now preparing for another major operation to replace three discs in his lower back.

Due to issues with the VA, Justin has had to seek treatment through a civilian doctor—and unfortunately, his insurance is not backing the procedure.

These surgeries offer Justin hope for a better future, but the financial burden remains immense.

That’s why we’re coming together to support one of our own.
