For a decade, we've been blessed to partner with the incredible team at Salt River Range Outfitters in Afton, Wyoming. Matt Harbach and his crew challenged us to think bigger about what was possible, helping expand the vision of what outdoor opportunities could mean for our nation's Veterans. Because of their friendship and support countless Veterans have experienced life-changing adventures across the United States. We are deeply grateful for 10 years of partnership, memories, and impact—and we're excited to see what the future holds.

This is what it's all about!

In 2024, Army Veteran and Kniestedt Foundation alum Josh Matthews joined us and the incredible team at Ho**er Mountain Outfitters for a mule deer hunt in the Colorado mountains. This summer, Josh made the trip back to Colorado—this time with his family—to spend time visiting friends from the Ho**er Mountain crew.

While the hunt itself was unforgettable, it's the relationships built along the way that truly matter. The lasting friendships, shared experiences, and connections that continue long after the hunt is over are how we measure success.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who lead by example, teach life’s most valuable lessons, and create memories that last a lifetime. Whether it's sharing time in the outdoors, teaching the value of hard work, or simply being there when it matters most, fathers play an incredible role in shaping the lives of those around them.

We are especially grateful for the many dads within our Veteran community and the fathers who support our mission. Your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to your families and communities inspire us every day.

This year marks 10 years of hunting mule deer with the incredible team at Ho**er Mountain Outfitters in Hayden, Colorado.

Over the past decade, their generosity, hospitality, and commitment to serving others have helped create unforgettable experiences and life-changing opportunities for the Veterans and youth we serve through the Kniestedt Foundation. From early mornings in the high country to celebrating successful hunts and lifelong friendships around camp, every trip has left a lasting impact.

We are deeply grateful to the entire Ho**er Mountain Outfitters family for a decade of partnership and for sharing their passion for the outdoors with so many deserving individuals. The memories made, lessons learned, and bonds formed in the Colorado mountains are truly priceless.

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Wyoming was having the opportunity to sit down and enjoy breakfast with two incredible friends and longtime supporters of the Kniestedt Foundation, Norma and Dan Winder.

For more than a decade, Norma and Dan have faithfully supported our mission by donating opportunities that have changed the lives of countless Veterans. Through their generosity, Veterans have been able to pursue mule deer, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and bison hunts—experiences that create lasting memories, foster healing, and build lifelong friendships.

The impact of their commitment cannot be measured simply by the tags they have donated. It is reflected in the stories, smiles, and renewed sense of purpose that Veterans carry home from these adventures.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Becki and Fred Clark, we were honored to host our 2nd Annual Wisconsin Turkey Hunt this past May!

This special event provided another opportunity for Veterans to spend time outdoors, enjoy great camaraderie, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful to Becki and Fred for their continued support and commitment to those who have served.
