Proud and grateful to once again receive the endorsement of Latinas Lead California!

As a Latina leader, it means so much to have the trust and support of an organization that has stood with me through each of my elections. I’m especially proud to be part of this amazing Sistahood—strong Latinas cheering each other on, lifting each other up, and always making room for another Latina at the table!

🕊️🇺🇸 Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the tragedy of September 11, 2001, but the lives, families, and futures forever changed.

Among those lost was my husband’s sister, Dr. Dora Marie Menchaca, who was aboard Flight 77 when it struck the Pentagon. Dora was returning home after helping develop a promising prostate cancer treatment. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, as well as a healthcare advocate and champion for women in science who lived with purpose and passion.

Today, we honor Dora and every life lost by carrying their legacies forward with compassion, hope, and unity.

Labor Day honors the people whose hard work keeps our community moving forward.

We recognize our city employees who maintain our parks, streets, and public spaces; our first responders who keep us safe; the business owners, employees, and service workers who support our local economy; and the preservationists who protect the Mission Playhouse and San Gabriel’s historic treasures for future generations.

Today, we thank all workers for their dedication, service, and contributions to San Gabriel and beyond. Happy Labor Day!

I’m honored to share some exciting news! I have received the endorsement of the I-Chinese American Political Action Committee (IAPAC – 美国華人政治聯盟).

This endorsement is especially meaningful because I know many of IAPAC’s dedicated community leaders and share their commitment to ensuring the Chinese American community is represented, heard, and fully engaged in shaping our city’s future. Together, we are building a more inclusive and united community where everyone has a voice.

Supporting our Gabrielino Key Club students is always a treat!🧋🎉

I stopped by Sunright Tea Studio to support their fundraiser, where 15% of each purchase went directly back to the club. The funds will help subsidize membership dues, purchase meeting materials, and support future activities.

As president-elect of the Kiwanis Club of San Gabriel, it was wonderful to also see so many fellow Kiwanis members supporting the fundraiser as well.

And we’re off! 👟🎉

Our first precinct walk was a great success! I’m so grateful to all the wonderful volunteers who braved the heat to spread the word, share the good work I’ve been doing, and help get me re-elected. We stayed focused, met so many friendly neighbors, and had plenty of fun along the way!
