Great evening at Congresswoman Judy Chu’s dinner here in San Gabriel, reconnecting with longtime friends and meeting new ones from across the region.

I’ve always enjoyed bringing people together and building meaningful connections across business, community, and public service. So many great opportunities and partnerships begin with a simple conversation.

Always a pleasure welcoming friends to our historic city. Great people, great conversations, and new connections.

I’m honored to have been appointed to serve as San Gabriel’s Alternate Delegate to the Southern California Association of Governments (S**G), serving as the alternate to Mayor Eric Chan.

S**G brings together cities and counties across Southern California to collaborate on transportation, housing, economic development, sustainability, and long-term regional planning. Having previously served as San Gabriel’s primary delegate, I gained valuable firsthand experience working with regional leaders and seeing how regional decisions can directly impact our community.

It is a great honor to continue serving in this capacity, supporting Mayor Chan when called upon and helping ensure San Gabriel remains engaged and represented in important regional conversations.

After seeing firsthand the condition of many aging street signs throughout San Gabriel and hearing similar concerns from residents and visitors, I brought the issue directly to our City Manager and emphasized the need for a citywide solution.

I’m pleased to share that our Council is moving forward with replacing these aging signs throughout San Gabriel, with the goal of completing the work this year. I’ll continue paying attention to the details, following through on community concerns, and working to make visible improvements across our city.

If you see an issue in San Gabriel, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I’m always happy to listen, serve, and help where I can.

After the rain, the heavens opened in gold. 🌅 The setting sun touched the earth like an old blessing, while every puddle held a mirror to the sky. And there, between water and fire, we remember: yesterday leaves its mark, but tomorrow is still ours to shape. Like the old roads of our ancestors, we carry memory behind us and light before us—walking always toward a new dawn.

Enjoying a peaceful walk around San Gabriel with my wife, Ting, taking in the light rain and fresh air before the heat returns tomorrow. With our baby boy expected anytime now—and the doctor encouraging her to keep walking—we’re cherishing these quiet moments together as we wait to welcome the newest member of our family. 💙👶

My happy place is spending father-daughter time with my little princess, Maple. 🍁 Nothing can replace these moments or the memories we’re creating together. Time moves so fast, but somehow, when I’m with her, it slows down—just for a little while. ❤️

Proud to be assigned to serve on the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments’ Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Committee. The SGVCOG brings cities and local agencies across the San Gabriel Valley together to address shared regional priorities, while this committee focuses specifically on issues such as energy, air quality, water, sustainability, clean transportation, wildfire recovery, and the protection of our natural resources. I look forward to representing San Gabriel and helping advance practical regional solutions for a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient San Gabriel Valley. SGV Council of Governments
