Join the San Gabriel Fire Department on September 11 for its annual 9/11 Remembrance and Tribute Ceremony, honoring the lives lost and the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago.

📍 Fire Station 51, 1303 S Del Mar Ave
⏰ Ceremony begins at 6:45 a.m.
🇺🇸 Flag ceremony, moment of silence & final bell tribute

Mini American flags bearing the names of fallen responders will line the station’s front lawn as a lasting tribute.

We invite the community to join us in remembrance.

🚒 Congratulations to Justin Coplen, William Martens, John Donckels, Eddy Reyes, and Daniel Correll on successfully completing their probationary year with the San Gabriel Fire Department!

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, each firefighter was proudly pinned by a family member and officially sworn in to mark this important career milestone.

After completing more than 1,500 hours of training, including a five-week in-house academy, extensive field training, and rigorous examinations, these firefighters have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to serving the San Gabriel community.

We're also proud to share that three of these Firefighter EMTs will begin paramedic training this fall as the department continues working toward its goal of having every firefighter trained to the paramedic level by the end of 2027.

Congratulations, and thank you for your dedication to protecting our community! ❤️🚒
