It was the simplicity and vulnerability. Something that we all seek out and crave... to just feel like ourselves. To feel human. To feel connected.

That's the real power of having accessible hygiene products. That's what having your most basic needs met can provide.

And that's what Simply the Basics works to help make possible everyday. 🤍

We are so over periods and menstrual health conversations feeling "taboo" or hush hush. That time is over and we are moving into real defining moments to support women in taking care of their bodies and wellness. 💪

This month is a celebration of menstrual health awareness and it's happening right now nationwide.

We are talking about...

🩸Educational resources and knowledge
🩸Community or family support
🩸Water and safe facility access
🩸 And so importantly... opportunities.

This week we're celebrating with our community at our Family Market this Tuesday where we will be distributing hygiene essentials for parents and infant products.

Something as simple as a toothbrush can carry a whole lot of hope. 🪥

We recently sent a shipment of dental care essentials to our wonderful receiving partner , an organization working everyday to prevent childhood trauma and create safe, supported, and loved communities.

At Simply the Basics, we know that access to essential hygiene supplies is foundational to health, confidence, and wellbeing. When organizations like Safe & Sound are focused on this important work of healing and protecting children, the last thing their staff and clients should have to worry about is whether they have their basics covered. That's where we come in. 💛

By getting the right supplies to families and people in need, we get to all play a meaningful role in supporting the missions that change lives. This is what partnerships looks like!
