Today I had the honor of doing my official campaign photoshoot with my father overlooking the historic Hunters Point Naval Shipyard — a place that represents both San Francisco’s complicated industrial past and an enormous opportunity for its future.
My campaign has called for canceling the existing Hunters Point Shipyard redevelopment plan and pursuing a different vision centered on environmental remediation, manufacturing, logistics, shipbuilding, clean energy, and good-paying jobs.
The current redevelopment framework envisions more than 10,000 homes at the Shipyard, while the city continues to grapple with the site’s contamination, cleanup, and long-delayed redevelopment.
There are currently 10 candidates listed in the District 10 Supervisor race, and voters will ultimately decide which vision they want represented at City Hall.
For me, this campaign is about asking a fundamental question:
What should Hunters Point Shipyard become?
A housing development?
A center for jobs and industry?
Or a new model that combines environmental restoration, economic development, housing, and community benefits?
That conversation deserves the attention of every District 10 voter.
The choice belongs to the voters of District 10 on November 3, 2026.
