What a way to start the summer! Let's make sure we are taking care of one another during this extreme heat NCCR:

1. Encourage athletes and outdoor workers to take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
2. Remind older kids, athletes and outdoor workers to drink water before and after activities.
3. Plan to keep their medicine cold and their equipment charged in case of a power outage.
4. Check in twice a day on older adults, people with health problems or those who live alone.
