The Little House Committee We are a resource for those who want to preserve historic little houses
in San Francisco. Kirby asked one day if neighbors could prevent it?

When the George Ball House (1906) at 2022 Hyde Street was threatened with demolition, G.B. Though we filed a request for the Planning Commission to take discretionary review, and unsuccessfully appealed the demolition permit they approved, the little house committee was born.

An ad hoc organization, membership is open to those who love the nineteenth century San Francisco Cottages, homes erected during the rebuilding after the Earthquake and Great Fire of 1906, and those built since which qualify as historic resources for the purposes of CEQA.
