Shanell Williams for City College Board 王善英 In doing so, she's engaged everyone from members of the community to elected officials during her two terms as Student Trustee.

A native San Franciscan and proud graduate of City College, Shanell has spent the past 4 years fighting to save our City College from a near loss of accreditation and closure. She travelled from San Francisco to Washington D.C., and worked tirelessly alongside students, faculty and classified staff to ensure our City College remained open and accredited. As a former foster youth herself, Shanell k

nows that community college offers an affordable and accessible pipeline to higher education to lift individuals out of poverty and toward a brighter future. As a Trustee, Shanell will work hard to ensure the needs of the students, faculty and staff are the Board’s top priority when making decisions about the future of City College. She believes an accountable, accessible and diverse City College benefits us all and is ready to take her 4-year fight to the next level. She's ready to serve our City, improve our College and most of all, restore our community’s faith in City College. She's ready to be our voice for City College.
