When participating in ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages), have you noticed that the current Mandarin language groups are mostly based on simplified characters and the mainland Chinese curriculum, making it difficult to fully present the beauty of Taiwan Mandarin, the advantages of our digital teaching materials, and our rich cultural features?
Now, the opportunity for change has arrived! 💡
The Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) is fully committed to establishing the "Taiwan SIG" at ACTFL! This will become a long-term international platform for integrating resources such as the "Taiwan HUAYU Best Program" and "Study in Taiwan" in the future, allowing the world to see Taiwan's strength in Mandarin education.
