TEL HI’s Aging and Older Adult Program had a memorable August outing with a scenic waterfront walk, burgers and fries, and quality time with friends and peer! 🌊🍔

After strolling along the pier, participants enjoyed a special lunch at In-N-Out Burger near Fisherman's Wharf, along with plenty of good conversation. Outings like these give older adults meaningful opportunities to stay active, strengthen connections, and make new memories together.

💜 Join us for TEL HI’s 4th Annual Aging & Older Adults Resource Fair!

Older adults, adults with disabilities, and community members are invited to this FREE event to connect with local health, wellness, caregiving, and disability support services, all in one place.

This year’s fair, presented by San Francisco Health Plan with support from Home Match Front Porch and SCAN, will also include a complimentary lunch, raffle prizes, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, North Beach Grocery Outlet swag, and more!

School is back in session and TEL HI’s after-school programs are ready for another year of learning and fun!

From kindergarten through high school, our programs provide engaging activities, academic support, and safe, welcoming spaces where young people can thrive!

Students are now supported at five TEL HI San Francisco locations: the Elementary School Academy at TEL HI North Beach, the Youth Center at North Beach Place, the Beacon Program at Francisco Middle School , the Futurama Program at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology, and the new Elementary School Academy at Mission Bay Elementary School.

Thank you for joining us at SFPD Central Station’s ! 💙

Throughout the evening, the TEL HI team had a fun time meeting neighbors of all ages. Our ECE staff shared information about early preschool enrollment, our youth program team taught attendees how to make paper twist turbines, and our Galileo Futurama High School interns provided a face painting booth! 🎨

The event featured info and activities from other local orgs and small businesses, plus free burgers and snacks, a petting zoo, and more. It was a fun opportunity to share TEL HI’s programs and resources while spending time with the community we serve! Thanks to San Francisco Police Department Central Station for putting together such a great community event!

Last week, our Elementary School Academy (ESA) Summer Program at TEL HI North Beach wrapped up the season with an end-of-summer barbecue. They kicked off the afternoon with a friendly students vs. staff kickball game before families joined them for burgers, snacks, and other fun on the playground. 🍔

After a summer full of enrichment, field trips, and friendship, it was the perfect way to celebrate everything our campers accomplished before heading back to school.

Thank you to our ESA families for spending another summer with TEL HI and trusting us to keep your kids learning and engaged while school was out. Here’s to a great school year ahead! 🌟
