Kiwanis Club of San Fernando Each Tuesday our club meets for lunch at the banquet room of the San Fernando Regional Pool here in San Fernando. Come join us!

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” We have a fun raucous meeting, eat some great food, and manage to raise funds for worthy causes that benefit children and families in our community. You will be surprised by how fun and easy it is to make a difference.

You can purchase Disneyland tickets with it, a stay at a Disney hotel or purchase food and items at the park, all while raising money for this great cause!

Winner need not be present. You can scan the QR code to PayPal us and we'll fill out your ticket 🙂.

One of our projects is to adopt-a- classroom from a deserving school in San Fernando. We got to deliver supplies to San Fernando Elementary’s Ms. Yolanda’s classroom for her garden project. She picked out what the kids need to start growing a little garden of their own.

Today at our club luncheon meeting I was so grateful for all the effort everyone gives in making it special! Kris & Frank always bring a delightful array of delicious drinks and today they even had a sign explaining each one. Rachel brought her special homemade salsa, Mary picked up Flan & Corn cake and I picked up El Pollo loco. Sev spoke to us about what’s going on in the city.

We, Kiwanis, proudly awarded Martha Aszkenazy-Diaz a community service award today at our Governor’s luncheon.

She has been the Publisher of the San Fernando Valley Sun since 2001, which has been around since 1904!!! The Sun continues to support us in our mission in helping children in the community.
