Great news for San Elizario! 🌳

The City of San Elizario is proud to announce that the Ted Richardson Park Urban Canopy & Community Stewardship Project has been awarded $20,000 through the Texas A&M Forest Service's Community Forestry Grants Program in the Tree Planting category.

This funding will support the planting of up to 60 new trees and the implementation of green infrastructure improvements, helping create a healthier, more beautiful, and sustainable park for generations to come.

A special thank you to Mr. Luevano for his dedication and leadership in submitting this successful grant application. His efforts will have a lasting impact on our community.

Together, we're investing in greener spaces, stronger neighborhoods, and a brighter future for San Elizario. 🌱💚

🇺🇸 Celebrate Independence Day with the City of San Elizario! 🇺🇸

Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM–9:30 PM at Fernie Madrid Eagle Park for an evening filled with live music, waterslides, food trucks, picnic games, glow-in-the-dark sticks, and fun for the whole family!

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, relax on the lawn, and celebrate with friends, family, and neighbors. Feel free to wear your red, white, and blue as we come together to honor our nation’s independence and the community spirit that makes San Elizario so special.

Please note: For everyone’s safety, fireworks, glass containers, alcohol, pets, and other hazardous items are not permitted. Church Street will be closed to accommodate pedestrian access, food trucks, and event setup.
