🌱 Dry January 🌱
This month is about giving your body and mind a reset. Taking a break from alcohol can improve sleep, boost energy, support mental health, and help you reflect on habits that no longer serve you.

Whether it’s for a month or just a moment, choosing to pause is a powerful act of self-care. You don’t need a reason beyond wanting to feel better.

If you’re participating, we’re cheering you on. If you’re not, we still support making mindful choices that protect your health. 💚

🎆 The best New Year’s resolution? Make it home alive.

Impaired driving is 100% preventable.
Your choices tonight shape tomorrow.

Celebrate smart. Drive sober.

Don’t Be The ‘I’ in DUI. Impaired driving costs California lives. Too many impaired drivers involved in crashes that killed people thought they were fine. They see their mistake in hindsight and that they should have known better. But by then, it’s too late. Driving under the influence of an...

🎉 Ring in the New Year—Not a Tragedy 🎉

New Year’s Eve should end with memories, not sirens.
If you plan to drink or use substances, don’t drive.

🚗 Plan a ride
📱 Use a rideshare
🏠 Stay the night
👫 Look out for each other

A safe ride home is the best way to start the new year.

Holidays are a time for celebration, but remember to plan ahead for a sober ride to help protect innocent lives.Follow FOX 5 San Diego:https://www.fox5sandie...

Those who cite scientific studies to support policies should take care to tell the whole story, especially when it’s complex.

IPS highlights National Impaired Driving Prevention Month

December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, and the Institute for Public Strategies is joining partners across California to promote safer roads and healthier communities.

NHTSA reminds us: “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
If you feel different, you drive different—which means driving high is driving impaired.

IPS works every day to prevent substance-related harms and support community safety. This month, we encourage everyone to help keep our roads safe.
