Venturing Crew 16 is sponsored and chartered by Adventure 16 of San Diego. This sponsorship is contingent on Crew 16 maintaining an emphasis on outdoor high adventure. Business meetings are usually held in the “Skunkworks” room at Adventure 16 every first Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8 pm. The address of Adventure 16 is: 4620 Alvarado Canyon Road, San Diego 92120. The Crew Will:
1. Regard ou
tdoor high adventure and fun as the main objectives in everything we do.
2. Gain a variety of practical experiences by participating in outdoor high adventure activities.
3. Share opinions and ideas to help influence the outcome of a Crew decision.
4. Experience positive leadership from adults and youth leaders and be given opportunities to take on leadership roles.
5. Hold at least one regularly scheduled meeting per month.
6. Schedule at least one meeting or activity, preferably an outdoor activity, beyond the regularly scheduled meeting every month.
7. Plan a minimum of one High Adventure Super Activity per year.
8. Practice a mentoring program where older more experienced members mentor and teach younger and less experienced members in outdoor adventure skills and ethics. For more information contact:
